Anisa Holmes is

a researcher and designer. She is currently a senior dual degree student concentrating in Development Studies and Economics at Brown University, and Graphic Design at RISD. For her senior thesis in Development Studies at Brown, she researched historical election data and implications of aid disbursement in Haiti. Through her studies she found that foreign aid has failed to positively promote democracy, and has instead hindered Haiti's development. For her Degree Project at RISD, she decided to synthesize all her research and other useful resources into this informational website.
